Break-out space. Designed to incorporate client’s existing and new furniture. The colour scheme is derived from the concept that the space will be used as rest bite from the working environment. Calm colours with bright furniture, enable staff to associate the break-out space with rest and recuperation from the working day.

The finish quality on any project is of paramount importance. This is not cost driven, but ‘quality’ driven. Various factors contribute to ‘quality’. We focus on the following: Design, Materials, Workmanship, Finishing.

Kitchen. This kitchen required finite detailing as it is set on an ‘S’ curve with the countertop is also set at two levels. The kitchen is highlighted with LED up-lighters and down-lighters and includes fixtures such as dishwashers, fridges (including glass fronted), milk urns, instant hot/filtered/sparkling water machines and microwaves. Staff could not want for a better equipped kitchen, all designed and built by our team.

From the reception area, staff and visitors can view the open-plan office space. The reception main wall is decorated with the company logo which forms the River Tyne. The crisp and clean reception finish leads through to the more organic office space.

Bright and airy, the office desks are arranged in ‘team pods’ which allow for an organic feel to the space. The office space includes fixed furniture for stationary storage, layout spaces, and a file storage wall. As well as undertaking the fit-out, we altered the air-conditioning, installed all of the IT, built meeting rooms and individual offices, and altered the electrical system to cater for the client’s requirements.

Meeting rooms. There were variously sized meeting rooms, training rooms and offices required. All have been installed with individual temperature and lighting controls. The glazed manifestation (frosting) is tailored to each function, providing more or less transparency as each function necessitates.

Throughout this project we utilised Quartz Compac® for all countertops. This material is a resistant and elegant product of extremely high quality, with a most attractive appearance and perfect finishes, which offers countless possibilities for interior design. It was the ideal choice this project as the space was designed to flow seamlessly from one defined area to the next. Apart from the kitchen installation, countertops were secured to bespoke-fabricated brushed stainless steel legs which are bolted to the sub-floor under the raised floor surface. Moka and Café were the complimentary surfaces chosen here. They work perfectly with the Harris & Porter wall tiles and Amtico flooring.

First impressions really do count…

This bespoke reception counter made from LG HIMACS Alpine White and Concrete Grey, with a grey desk inlay and privacy screen. The most technical part of this reception desk was the 2 metre unsupported overhang. Construction included engineering two integral steel frames that sit inside the desk and are bolted to the sub-floor under the raised floor surface. The desk was installed in 3 curved sections that were then seamlessly joined together. We also included an RGB LED lighting unit with a control box that allows the client to change the feature lighting colour. The desk flows in harmony with the curved plaster wall to the rear and the striking white of the desk complements the woven nylon flooring. This desk is designed to service a large call centre and as such has adequate room for two receptionists and is DDA compliant.
